Skip Post Memorial Fantasy Football League 2010

In 2008, I started a Fantasy Football League for On Location employees and a few others. As a way to boost morale and comrodery amoungst fellow co-workers.  It seemed to do the trick, as we had 12 teams when i closed the entries, with a waiting list of 5 teams by the time the season started.

My father Skip Post, managed to win the first season, capturing the mantle and a $50 gift card to Claim Jumper's (a restaruant if you are not familiar, with large portions and good food).  Well little did we expect my father to pass away a meer 3 months later, from a pulmonary embolism, which was a result of cancer surgery.

So I found it fitting, that I would name the league after my father.  When we started the 2009 season, I slated 20 teams. Creating 4 divisions of 5 teams, while still managing to have a waiting list of 3 teams to play. This year, there was a $5 weekly prize; in addition to the $50 AMC gift card to the winner of the league. 

We had participants from On Location, Renaissance, Czarnowski, and Freeman. Residing from Hawaii, California, Chicago, New Jersey, and Florida. This support shown from across the I&D color boundry, as well as the nation, is greatly appreciated.

I have some special things in store for this year's 2010 league. I will be installing a an entry fee of $10. That entry fee is returned in the prize fund 100%. I will match everyones entry fee of $10 with a $10 donation to the American Cancer Research Foundation in the name of this league. As you may or may not know i sponsored the league last year. And I will continue to sponsor the 1st place winnings of $50. Thus giving the league a prize fund of $250 based on 20 teams.

I want to congratulate Mike Vladika on winning the 2009 season's league. Mike recieved the  gift card to AMC and a personalized Champion shirt.
